Abstract: Objective To analyze the short-term effects of one anastomosis gastric bypass as revision surgery following sleeve gastrectomy. Methods The patients who underwent one anastomosis gastric bypass as revision surgery after sleeve gastrectomy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 2018 to November 2021 were included. The body weight, body mass index, percent excess weight loss, percent total weight loss and remission of obesity complications were compared at 1,3,6 and 12 months after revision surgery. Results A total of 15 patients underwent one anastomosis gastric bypass at(36.67 ± 25.79) months after sleeve gastrectomy. The average body weight before revision surgery was(97.05 ± 16.62) kg,and the average body mass index was(35.35 ± 4.88) kg/m2.Four patients(27%) each had diabetes and gastroesophageal reflux disease.Patients with hypertension and hyperlipidemia were 3(20%) each.12 months after revision surgery, the average weight of the patients was(70.76 ± 8.65) kg,and the average body mass index was(25.82 ± 2.46) kg/m2.Except for one diabetic patient, the obesity complications of the other patients were improved or remitted. Conclusion As revision surgery of sleeve gastrectomy, one anastomosis gastric bypass is feasible and effective, which can significantly reduce weight and improve obesity complications
