Abstract: Objective To investigate short and medium term therapeutic effect of Castor single-branch aortic covered-stent in treating Stanford type B aortic dissection(TBAD)with insufficient anchorage zone. Methods 122 cases of tbad patients with insufficient anchoring area were selected and treated with castor branched covered stent. The stent patency rate, aortic remodeling and complication rate were evaluated at 2 weeks,3 months,6 months and 12 months after operation. Results 2 weeks,3 months,6 months and 1 year after operation, the patency rates of LSA branch stents were 100%,100%,99.18%and 97.54%respectively.Aortic remodeling indexes were improved 2 weeks after operation. With the extension of time after operation, the improvement degree of aortic remodeling indexes was gradually increased, and the difference was statistically significant compared with 2 weeks after operation(P<0.05).There were 3 cases of internal leakage,1 case of cerebral infarction and 1 case of refractory hypertension;During the follow-up,2 cases of endoleak disappeared and 1 case of retrograde type A dissection appeared. Conclusion Castor single-branch aortic covered-stent has a good clinical effect in treating aortic dissection of Stanford type B with insufficient anchorage zone, with good long-term stent patency rate and low complication rate.
