Abstract: Mirizzi syndrome is a special type of gallstone，with a low incidence and is relatively rare in clinical practice.The disease lacks specific clinical manifestations and is difficult to diagnose before surgery.Most patients are diagnosed during surgery.Because of the anatomical variation of the disease，iatrogenic biliary tract injury is easily caused during surgery，so biliary surgeons need to be more vigilant about the disease.This article intends to review the latest developments in the pathogenesis，pathological type，clinical manifestations，diagnosis and treatment of Mirizzi syndrome，in order to provide reference for biliary surgeons.
