Abstract: Obesity and obesity-associated metabolic dysfunction are risk factors for the occurrence and development of various malignant tumors,including colorectal cancer,breast cancer(especially postmenopausal women),endometrial cancer and so on.Chronic inflammatory response,insulin resistance and adipocytokines are main mechanisms responsible for the tumor-promoting effects of obesity.It is one of the current research hotspots to study the molecular and metabolic mechanisms between obesity and tumor genesis and development,so as to provide new ideas and strategies for the prevention and treatment of tumors.This article will review the basic mechanism,current research focus and new strategies for the prevention and treatment of obesity-related tumors.
